Overview

Qewv Fogd Ckez was founded durring the early 12th century in fall of the year 1149, by Erchoril Shega Eghehf. The establishment of the new community went well, though many minor issues had to be solved as time went on. This was enough to delay construction and push back the formal opening ceramony, leading to some embarisment for Erchoril Shega Eghehf.

Qewv Fogd Ckez was built using the conventions of Dwarvern durring the early 12th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Qewv Fogd Ckez is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature masoned stone construction which prominantly features pointed arches, pointed ribbed vault cielings, flying buttress', and window tracery all of which share a simmilar gemoetetic patern halfway between organic and inorganic in design formaing a very distinct aesthetically integrated style. BUildings tend to reach for the havens, and more expencive homes are easily identified by their floor count as well as the addition of decorative features intigrated into the building's design such as statues, gargoyals, and embelished joinery.

Qewv Fogd Ckez is buildings are speckled and packed arround restrictive carved bedrock streets with seemingly no patern to them. It appears as if the town's residents simply built streets as they pleased and squeazed buildings in wherever and howeave rpossible, creating an organic, frustrating to navigate, maze of a town. The town has a defencive wall made from large clay bricks. The wall is constructed to the exact specifications of millitary fortifications, but the nature of its clay brick construction leaves it vulnerable to even outdated siege equipment. That said, the town is well defended against anything short of an army. The brittle defences have not been wellmaintained over the years, and while functional are in dire need of some loving care and perhapse light renovation.

A look around Qewv Fogd Ckez makes it abundantly clear the town suffered something horrible some time ago. It's as if the town itself is depressed. Smiles are few, cheer is nowhere to be had. Everyone quietly goes about their daily business not looking anyone in the eye.

Cultural Notes

Qewv Fogd Ckez's chapel was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used embraces individualism and experimentation. It emerged as a movement against traditional, classical styles and sought to make buildings dynamic and fun while breaking the rules. The style incorporated elements of previous architectural styles in exaggerated and whimsical ways. Traditional, conservative leanings were void in this era, with most scholars of architecture agreeing it was a time of “anything goes.”.

History

A vast influx of newcomers over the last (696 % 6)+1 years has greatly spiked Qewv Fogd Ckez's population. They may have been drawn by economic opportunities, or fled some pursuing peril, or been forcibly moved there by a ruler who wanted to dilute the existing native cohesion. The natives may not have the resources or opportunities to integrate these newcomers, and it may be that the new population has no desire to stay longer than is necessary.

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the early 2nd century the Lêfîn-kêqë Woodlands was struck by a drought when Mere Karna grew too small to continue feeding Creek Moor, which reduced the available water supply nationwide, but was especially harsh in the area arround Qewv Fogd Ckez. As the neighboring regions had no water so spare, Qewv Fogd Ckez lost 151 people, and 213 livestock in the disaster.. The drought lasted for 2 weeks, which are remembered as the Mourning Thirst.
